Anatomical Sciences Master's Program

The Anatomical Sciences major is ideal for the graduate student who is pursuing a career in anatomy research, teaching or medical school. All courses are a structured preparatory route for future entry to professional school, master's programs or a doctoral-level graduate program.

Students will participate in foundational graduate courses that will help them to understand and use the primary literature of Anatomical Sciences. 

Thirty-five (35) graduate credit hours are the minimum requirement. Please note that in the event a student has course deficiencies in their undergraduate preparation, it may alter the curriculum of their graduate curriculum. This may require additional time for the successful completion of this master's program.

Admission to the Graduate Anatomical Science Program

The Lincoln Memorial University Master of Science Program (LMU-MS) seeks to attract and train future practitioners to serve the needs of the southern Appalachian region. We seek to achieve these goals by recruiting bright, hard-working applicants whose goal is to advance the science and art of medicine in these locations. It is our firm conviction that our graduates will be lifelong learners who will become leaders in their fields of endeavor and within their communities.

At LMU-MS, students will receive a rigorous, demanding and rewarding masters-level education in a new, state-of-the-art facility by faculty who are national leaders in the profession with several decades of experience. Each applicant to the Master of Science program is evaluated holistically by their chosen program's Admissions Committee. Committee members carefully consider each required element of the application package including a video conference or in-person interview, science course GPA, cumulative GPA, letters of recommendation and standardized test scores.
